| Quote: | | Infowars.com received an email today from a pilot for a major airline who claims all passengers are now forced through naked body scanners in El Paso, Texas. “‘I’m a pilot for a major airline and overnighted in El Paso. Came to the airport the next day and everyone except for crew and airport employees were sent through the scanners. Stood there for a while and did not see anyone sent through the metal detectors,” the pilot writes. |

Playing both bullion and the miners or weighting bullion more than the miners has been the way to go for conservative investors since 2006.

For the bear count, I was thinking c of the putative expanding triangle would have to be a neutral triangle but perhaps it could be expanding if we retrace a lot of wave a of c with b of c here. Wave c is limited to about 1.618x of a in an expanding triangle. I may not take a position today because of the Canadian holiday Monday. _________________ If We Had Some Global Warming

HUI. For the bear 1 count, seems either need to have started Jul 26 and this is a potential expanding triangle that should go higher ~446 (where b is about 61.8% of a) or the down move began Jul 27 and there's a potential neutral triangle made for b (wave d of b would be a neutral triangle in this case that started with yesterday morning's down wave and ended this morning), this could morph into an expanding triangle too. _________________ If We Had Some Global Warming

Gld. Looked like Neely's count was invalidated but perhaps it isn't (although he got stopped out). If iv is a triangle looks like iii could be larger than v. So I think we need to keep the wedge count as an alternate. Wave 5s of terminals can break the ii-iv line in formation but here the price (range) is contricted so if iii is a zigzag (wave-a gapping through 117.5) a break of the ii-iv line with a strong reversal will indicate its done.

Moody's Puts Iceland's Baa3 Rating On Outlook Negative, Next Stop - Junk, As Island Nation Continues Giving Banks the Finger
| Quote: | | Just because the unpronounceable volcano did not do quite enough damage, and both Hekla and Katla are taking their sweet time, the Iceland Supreme Court recently ruled on the illegality of foreign FX-linked loans, and "Icesave" is still DOA, here is Moody's with a stern warning for the country to change its anti-Keynesian ways promptly or else. "Today's rating action was triggered by the recent Supreme Court ruling on the illegality of foreign-exchange-linked loans and government's continuing difficulties in achieving a resolution to its "Icesave" dispute with the UK and Dutch governments. Specifically, the Supreme Court ruling has the potential to cause substantial bank losses on foreign currency-denominated loans to domestic borrowers and may therefore require additional government support to the banking system. Moreover, a failure to resolve the "Icesave" dispute could lead the Nordic countries and the IMF to withhold future disbursements to the Icelandic government." Zero Hedge is certainly rooting for the tiny island country, even if it is triple hook rated, as it continues to give the middle finger to all the developed world kleptocrats. |
